A New Journey

So I was looking back, and apparently I must have deleted the post about our soon to be, hopefully to be new home!  Tanner and I woke up one morning and decided that it was time to buy a house.  That we just couldn't live in our mobile home any longer!  So we went on the websites that show all the houses that are listed.  Within 2 weeks, we got pre-approved for a loan, found a house, AND made an offer!  Our first offer was accepted, we are super excited.  2 weeks from Monday we will be closing on the house, as long as everything continues to run smoothly.  Keep your fingers crossed!  There are many things that we want to update.  Our first major project will be the kitchen and we plan on doing that in a couple of years! Here is a sneak peek as to what our future home looks like:

Friday Fab: The Color Grey

As you may or may not know, Tanner and I are purchasing our first home in a little over 2 weeks!!  I am painting our master bedroom grey.  I have always been a huge fan of bright colors! I love how cheerful they are.  So, to incorporate my love for pretty colors, we are bringing in yellows.  The color we picked is called Winter's Day!  Isn't it such a pretty color?!







In order to save ALOT of money, I am going to make our throw pillows.  Pillows are just so dang expensive!  I have found some fabric that I absolutely love.  I will be making pillows, recovering our chair and hopefully will be able to do something for the windows with any leftover fabric.  Take a look at the fabrics that I have picked out!  Aren't they Fabulous? :) I love the chevron stripes!
